You are looking at the 400 4 BBL engine from a 73 Pontiac Grand Am with rare factory 4 speed. It is suffix code WP which is correct for manual trans including 73 GTO and Trans Am. It is 230 HP w 8.1 to 1 compression. Block is cast # 481988 and dated K092 (Nov. 9, 1972 for 73 model year). Heads are 4X and dated K102. The intake is cast # 492744 and dated K152. We just removed this engine last week. Before we pulled it, we fired it up and it ran smooth and strong with no smoke or funny noises. I have a video I can text to you of it running. 123,000 miles on the odometer. Looks clean under the factory oil dripper valve covers. Being offered as a core for rebuild but you could use it as is. What you see in the pictures is what you get. If you have a winter built 73 Trans Am with factory 4 speed, finding an all date matched, manual trans coded, running 400 is impossible.
