TM9-8015-1
~ Ordnance Maintenance, Engine (Willys -Overland Model MD) & Clutch For:
1/4 Ton 4X4 Utility Truck ~ M38A1
This
is a quality reprint of US Army
Manual TM9 8015-1. Originally published
in April of 1954, it is the Engine Maintenance Manual for ¼ Ton 4X4 Utility
Truck, M38A1 Jeeps.
From
the Manual:
Section 1. GENERAL
1. Scope
a. This manual
is published for the information and guidance of personnel responsible for
field and depot maintenance of this materiel. It contains information on
maintenance which is beyond the scope of the tools, equipment, or supplies
normally available to using organizations. This manual does not contain
information which is intended primarily for the using organization, since such
information is available to ordnance maintenance personnel in the pertinent
operator's technical manual or field manual.
b. This manual
contains a description of and procedures for removal, disassembly, inspection,
repair, rebuild, and assembly of the
Willys-Overland
Model HID engine and clutch as used in the power plant (figs. 1 and 2) of the ¼
ton 4X4 utility truck M38A1. The appendix contains a list of current
references, including supply manuals, technical manuals, and other available
publications applicable to the materiel.
Format
is 8.5X11 inches ~ 186 Pages.
The pictures are very usable
and not washed out or too dark like many of the reprints I have seen that
come from copy machines. These are printed on 24 pound paper.
Copy paper is generally 20 pound and you can feel the difference. It is
bound with GBC plastic combs so that it will lay flat. If you would
like I can, rather than bind with the plastic comb, three hole punch it for
your binder.
If you are collecting Military Vehicle documents or looking for a prop to
display at your next show, this is not what you want. If you want some
usable information on the truck you are restoring, you need a copy of this one.

Shipping ~ I’ll pay that inside
