This is a GM Cigarette lighter that is tagged 1938 -1953.
The part # 's on the tag Rread: # 609829 / Group # 9.709
I know the elements fits 1937 - 1953 Corvette as indicated in the GM parts books. The knob is more of a generic type? Not sure.
The face of the knob is bright chrome, the sides have a brushed finish.
