This is from an estate auction, in with some fishing and other things I wanted sold as a lot. I don't know if it was used or not but it for sure is used in the sense of being pre-owned. The ball compass part is 2 1/2" in diameter. In looking up others of these on Ebay, I'm assuming the wire is to hook up for the compass to be lighted. The inner compass moves freely and it is good on appearance other than a little spotty light scuffing to the ball surface here and there on top.
Please see the Very Necessary Info section for full terms. If you are a multiple purchase buyer, the Combined Shipping section is a must-read to save on shipping.
I email on receiving pmt & when shipping. Usually, I'm very prompt on all communication. However, sometimes things come up, I'm out of town or I'm 'on the hunt' for Ebayables, particularly on the weekends. If you don't hear from me within 3 days (never happened yet) - assume major personal/computer or other disaster.
I will combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever possible - easier for me and 99% of the time saves the buyer money. You can continue to bid and rack up items for up to 5 days to get combined shipping. Not necessary to let me know; I allow a 7-day pmt window and I am watching out for multiple purchases. However, PLEASE DO NOT PAY AFTER WINNING EACH ITEM. Ebay will send you an individual invoice for each - just ignore those. Also, if you try combining on check-out on your own, it RARELY calculates the correct price for whatever reason. Either email me that you're ready for a grand total combined invoice when you're done bidding or else at the end of the 5 days, I will send you one. If you pay for each item as you win them, I will ship within the 3-day shipping time I have specified on my Ebay settings to protect my Top Seller status and you may miss out on any savings. My combined shipping is calculated on actual package weight. Occasionally (mainly when just 2 items are involved), it may actually be a little cheaper to ship separately. Also, at times combining very heavy with fragile items may not be feasible.
Pmt is due within 7 days of auction end. If you are doing multiple purchases for combined shipping, full pmt is due within 7 days of the first item purchased. I ship about three times a week. Your item will be well & sometimes creatively packaged to reach you safely. I have an excellent record in this regard; HOWEVER, there is always that little risk of mishap. If you receive a damaged item, the shipping label will show whether it has been insured or not or you can email me to make sure. Keep all wrapping & the broken item until you know whether you will need to show it to the post office or not. But again, items arriving damaged or broken are extremely rare.
I don't pack items before sale in case of needing to combine purchases and so my shipping prices are estimates. Most of the time, they are right on or very close but if there is an overpmt difference of $1.50 or more above other handling costs described later in this section, I will always refund that. If my estimate happens to be low and the pkg costs more to ship than the shipping calculator shows, that is my problem.
Shipping prices are based on actual size/weight, may include insurance and may include .25 cents to a maximum of $2.50 for handling/packing materials per package, so potential for a little more savings on combined shipping here.
If you are a non-US bidder and see an item not listed for worldwide sale, email me and we may be able to work out you bidding. If you want to bid on an item that can go 1st Class (which is uninsured), email me. I may agree to ship it without insurance but YOU MUST BE WILLING TO ACCEPT THE LOSS in the rare event that item is lost or damaged in transit and understand that it may take longer to reach you than either of us think it should. Shipping prices in the listings are rounded up to the nearest pound after 13 oz. as an estimate. Please request an invoice rather than paying from the automatic Ebay invoice as the actual ship price may be cheaper. Any customs fees are your responsibility. Item value on the shipping form will be marked as what it actually sold for - I don't bend the rules and mark merchandise as gifts.
I aim for fairness & complete customer satisfaction. If there is a problem, email me. Though my default is set that I don't accept returns, if I've made a mistake or overlooked something as every human occasionally does, I will make it right. If there's some type of misunderstanding or miscommunication, we'll work it out. I will always work with folks within reason.
