LFP's precision-machined crank pulley kit is an Innovator's West replacement balancer assembly and LFP light-weight aluminum pulley ring(s) for GM LSA engine. A clean and simple way to add boost and horsepower to your supercharged Cadillac or Camaro without making any permanent modifications.
Innovator's West harmonic balancer is precision-machined in the USA and installs directly in place of the factory unit. The Innovator's West balancer and LFP's light-weight crank pulley ring assembly weigh only 12.6 lbs, compared to 16.2 lbs for the heavier factory steel unit. Installing this kit removes significant rotating mass from the front of the engine.
LFP's CNC-machined crank pulley rings bolt directly to new balancer using provided fasteners. Once new balancer assembly is installed, changing the outer ring to adjust the boost level is simply a matter of six allen-head fasteners. Crank pulley rings are available separately from LFP and are listed elsewhere in this section.
On a chassis dyno, the LFP 9.55" crank pulley ring and our 50mm Idler pulley produced 547 rear wheel horsepower (at the tires). Max boost level was 13.5lbs
Note: The LFP 9.10" and 9.55" crank pulley rings require the use of our reduced diameter idler pulley which can be found in our store.
Supercharger Belt Lengths:
+2 lbs 8.60" Crank pulley ring and stock idler pulley: 67.5" belt
+3 lbs 9.10: Crank pulley ring and 50mm idler pulley: 68.0" belt
+4.5 lbs 9.55" Crank pulley ring and 50mm idler pulley: 69.0" belt
Note: The original belt in most applications is 66.0" in length.
