You are bidding on a body repair patch panel that was stamped back in the 1950's for all models of 1957 1958 Mercury two door cars. Over the years I have learned that this panel will also work on the front section of the rear quarter on 1957 1958 Edsel Citation & Corsair models as these were based on the Mercury body. This is the drivers side shown on the auction, I also have the passenger side available. If you win this auction you can have your choice of which side you buy. If my panels have any surface rust beyond what will clean up with metal conditioner I have them cleaned by the friendly folks at Restoration Specialists in Hales Corners, WI PH 414-529-1515. With their akaline electrolytic immersion process they can take any size metal panel up to an entire car body and clean all the paint and rust from it so it looks like new sheet metal again. I have thousands of these body repair panels for cars and trucks from the 1940's, 1950's and early 1960's so if there is anything you are looking for just let me know and I will put it up for auction next.
