Here is the 1970 2nd Early Model "Professional Service Trade" edition of the "Motor Auto Repair Manual: Early Models 1964 to 1970."  It provides vital repair information for vehicles from a variety of manufacturers. This edition is in great condition with no torn or missing pages that I noticed, and only very light soiling on the hard covers and page edges.  Thanks for looking.

AUCTION SALES:  Most of our items are “used,” and we research them to the best of our ability, but we aren’t experts.  So BUYERS should do their own research, read our item descriptions, and ask questions etc., before bidding.  We try to respond within 24 hours.

CLAIMS:

DAMAGE: Except as otherwise specified, claims for damage by the CARRIER will be filed by PILOTGERRY on your behalf.  CARRIERS do have a time limit after the package has been delivered to accept a claim, so you must provide us with the information listed below within ten (10) days of receiving your package.  Failing to do so will likely result in our inability to recover money for your damaged item.

1.  PHOTOGRAPH the damage, the box and ALL packing material.

2.  KEEP all boxes and packing material until the claim is settled.  CARRIERS pay claims only if items are properly packaged, and the box and packing material are evidence of this.

3.  OBTAIN a written repair estimate or a qualified statement that the item cannot be repaired.

4.  EMAIL this information to PILOTGERRY with your phone number within ten (10) days of receiving the damaged item, in case CARRIER needs to schedule an inspection.

PILOTGERRY may be unable to file a claim on the BUYER'S behalf if these steps are not followed, and the BUYER may thus lose their ability to recover costs.  Please remember also that shipping charges are not refundable.

LOST ITEMS:  Except as otherwise specified, claims for items lost by the CARRIER will be filed by PILOTGERRY on behalf of the BUYER.  Payment will be issued to BUYER after the claim has been approved by the CARRIER.  Again, please remember that shipping charges are not refundable.

COMPLAINTS:  If you have any problem, PLEASE follow Ebay Protocol and contact us BEFORE opening a CLAIM or leaving NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.  We want happy customers and will gladly work to resolve problems, but we can only do so effectively if you contact us first.

ELECTRICAL ITEMS:  All electrical items should be inspected by a qualified electrician prior to use. Bulbs are not included with lamps, etc., as we cannot guarantee filaments will not break.  Unless otherwise stated in a listing, lamp shades will be shipped separately, but for an additional fee to be calculated separately.

PAYMENT:  All payments must be received through PayPal within three (3) days of purchase.  If you have a problem and/or are in need of additional time, please contact us before bidding or as soon as possible thereafter.

RETURNS:  Please DO NOT send items back without first contacting us.  If Returns are specifically allowed in an individual listing, we will accept Returns, but only after we have approved the Return.  We try to describe our items as accurately as possible, but we may also accept Returns if we agree that an item is not authentic or we made a substantial error in the listing.  BUYER must notify us within fourteen (14) days of receiving the item.  Failing to do so will result in forfeiture of a Refund.  If the Return is approved, we will provide a Return Number to be indicated on the package.  Unless otherwise specified, BUYER is responsible for all shipping and insurance fees associated with Returns.  PILOTGERRY does NOT provide refunds for BUYERS REMORSE, so BUYER must ask questions and/or request additional photographs, etc., before bidding.

SHIPPING FEES:  We try to check CARRIERS’ prices to obtain the best overall rate, and we choose the CARRIER we feel is best suited for the specific item.  We do not inflate shipping fees, and we try to accurately estimate the total weight of the package before we list an item.  Ultimately, the Post Office’s scale is the one that counts.  Large or fragile items often need more packaging material, and we try to ensure items are packaged securely.  As previously indicated, we do not refund shipping fees, so if you have questions or if a shipping fee is not shown for a particular item, please contact us before bidding. 

SHIPPING OPTIONS:

BUYER’S CARRIER:  Packaging and/or shipping by a CARRIER that the BUYER has selected is an option.  In such cases, the BUYER will be responsible for making all arrangements and coordinating with PILOTGERRY.  Any claims for loss or damage must be handled between the BUYER and their CARRIER.

COMBINED SHIPPING:  We will combine shipments to save money for our BUYERS if possible.  However, multiple items may be shipped separately if we feel it is safer.  If a BUYER insists that multiple items be combined when we feel this is unsafe or inappropriate, the BUYER must advise PILOTGERRY in writing, as any damage claim must then be handled between the BUYER and the CARRIER.

FREIGHT:  Large or heavy items that exceed CARRIER’S weight limits will need to be shipped by freight.  Ebay recommends FREIGHTCENTER.COM, and they will provide a quote.  Please contact us before bidding if you need any additional information to obtain your quote. 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:  A complete mailing address and postal code must be provided for us to estimate the shipping rate.  PILOTGERRY is not responsible for Customs Duties, brokerage fees, etc., on packages shipped to, through, or from any country.  PILOTGERRY will do what is needed to file a claim on your behalf if you purchased insurance and your item is lost or damaged.  Please remember that a). Insurance only covers the cost of the item and NOT the shipping charges, and b). Shipping charges are NOT refundable.  Also, please note that PILOTGERRY will NOT indicate a price on Customs Forms that is lower than the actual purchase price, as this is fraudulent. 

LOCAL PICK-UP:  Available by appointment.

OVERSIZE ITEMS:  Unless otherwise requested by the BUYER, oversized items may be knocked-down for shipping in reasonable-sized containers.
