Joe Rocket Boots Ballistic Touring
A kind of budget all-rounder, the Joe Rocket Ballistic Touring Boot represents a versatile choice for most every streetbike rider. More than tall enough for adequate protection against the elements and impacts, the Ballistic Touring Boot also comes with a reinforced toe box and integrated side ankle protectors. Entry and exit is aided by the side access zippers and to help keep the water out, a rain gaiter has been added. There are some decent protection features built into the boot, such as armor in the shin and on either side of the ankle bones, and the toe box is stiffened somewhat (but the heel area is not). The soles have a shank in them to add rigidity from the ball of the foot back to the heel, which is important in any boot bearing weight in the mid-foot such as standing on pegs.
