Please do your research if you are planning to install this yourself. These films have been designed and tested by 3M to work and are the same ones we use locally at our shop without any issues. It is completely doable by yourself but it is important to familiarize yourself with the process. Like any do it yourself project, if you are uncomfortable and unsure it is recommended that you have a local body shop or dealership install this for you.
Purchasing the kit online is a cheaper alternative ultimately regardless of the installation route you ultimately choose upon.
