"Hellwig Helper Spring -- PROGRESSIVE RATE HELPER SPRING
  • Perfect for vehicles that require only occasional additional load-carrying capacity
  • Supports up to 3,000 lbs. loads yet you won't know springs are installed when vehicle is not loaded
  • Ensure a factory-smooth ride when vehicle is unloaded; yet support up to 1,500 lbs. loads
Increases level-load carrying capacity. Controls dangerous rear-end bottoming. Prevents suspension damage caused by bushing failure. When vehicle is unloaded, normal ride and handling characteristics are virtually unaffected. When vehicle is loaded with firewood, other cargo or slide-in camper or trailer, these springs are in place to provide the needed load assistance. Easy bolt-on installation. No drilling or welding required. Kit includes 4 springs (2 each for both leafs springs on vehicle), hardware and instructions. Note: Springs are designed to increase level-load carrying capacity. Never load vehicle beyond manufacturer's maximum GVW rating. (A) Special 2-spring design for limited clearance application."
