Engines must be installed by a certified mechanic. The warranty on this Engine will be VOID if proper installation instructions are not followed. This includes flushing the radiator and cooling lines. Please refer to the vehicle manufacturers installation instructions to properly install this Engine.
All engines are stamped and have a heat tab installed which has a center that will melt if the temperature exceeds 255 to 260 Fahrenheit. If this heat tab is melted the warranty is void. Elgin Super Auto Parts Inc., reserves the right to inspect the heat tabs in any warranty claim. If your original engine failed due to overheating, Elgin Super Auto Parts strongly recommends that you remedy what caused it to fail, so that future engines will not be ruined. Engine assemblies are sold as an Engine Block and Cylinder Head(s) only. All bolted on accessories are left on the Engine Block for the possible customer convenience and are to be used at the purchaser’s option only and are not warranted.
Transmissions must be installed by a certified mechanic. The warranty for this Transmission will be VOID if a NEW Transmission Filter is not installed. Remember to clear all previous fault codes in the ECU or TCM from the previous defective Transmission. Please refer to the vehicle manufacturers installation instructions to properly install this Transmission.
Transmissions may have the filter removed to insure that a new one is installed. Failure to install a NEW transmission filter will void this warranty.
Any repairs or alterations to parts done without our authorization will automatically VOID the WARRANTY.We are not liable for any charges you incur,parts or labor,done prior to contacting us first.Any such request to us must be done in writing through the Ebay mail system.We reserve the right to replace the part,or refund in the event of any issue that may arise.
In the event a part sold with a warranty fails to operate within the warranty period we will replace the part(s) with a functionally equivalent part or refund the part purchase price, at our option. No refund on deposits or unwanted special order parts or special "cut" items.
To return an item you must contact us via eBay Message within the 30 day period to obtain a RMA number (return material authorization).
Original shipping charges and return shipping charges are not refunded.
