1997 40 HP Honda 4 stroke outboard powerhead (crankcase, long block). Great running power head with great compression. All 3 cylinders are between 190-195 compression!! Will fit many years. 91-03 I think. Check to be sure. Very very very clean clean clean no salt and very low hours power head. Will also work on 35 hp or 50 hp Honda outboard. (However the 50 hp does use a different camshaft). Came from a running outboard that the lower unit messed up on. Then I used the power trim on another engine and so now I have decided to just part out the rest of the outboard. THIS POWERHEAD IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!!! Put it on and go fishing!!!

Will come as a long block. Meaning complete actual powerhead. No carbs, starter, or electronics. I will leave the flywheel, belt, and valve cover on it.  Pictures were just taken before I took it off the outboard and wrapped it up.
