1979 Firebird Trans Am 6K Tachometer w/Quartz Clock

Included in this auction is an original 6K Tachometer from a 1979 Trans Am with a Quartz clock. GM started using these Quarts style clocks in mid 1979. This is the early style without "Quartz" printed above the clock facing.  It will fit any 1979 - 1981 Firebird, Trans Am, or Formula that is equipped with a Quartz style Clock/Tach (see two images below to see the difference) but the font for 1980-1981 cars is slightly different. With some modification, it can be installed in earlier models.

The Tachometer & Clock have been bench tested and work! The facing is in very good shape with some typical light wear.  The numbers are clean and clear the colors are very nice with some light fading.  Would give it an 7.5 out of 10 rating. Great for any restoration or daily driver.
