Because of frictional inconsistencies with oil, moly, and other lubricants it takes multiple cycles of torquing the bolt, loosening it, and tightening it again to obtain the required preload or stretch. Typically, when a fastener is first tightened, friction is at its highest point and the preload value or stretch is low. As the fastener is cycled numerous times the friction decreases and the preload increases. This phenomenon is called "preload scatter." With this ARP Ultra Torque assembly lubricant, a fastener need only be torqued once to get within 5 percent of ideal preload, and it remains consistent through all subsequent cycles (from race-prep machining through final assembly). Moreover, given the inconsistencies of ordinary lubes, it is quite possible for adjacent head bolts or studs to have vastly different preloads. This scatter causes bore distortion, hampers piston ring seal, and leads to poor head gasket sealing.

Domestic Payments

International Payments
  • For orders outside the US, we only accept PayPal.
  • Payment to be made within three (3) days after auctions end.
  • Please consult the proper customs authorities in your country for any questions regarding import duties.
  • If you purchase an item and are outside the U.S., you will need to provide a phone number with your payment. We cannot ship your order without this information.
  • We cannot falsify or reduce the price of any item in an attempt to reduce duty charges. Don't even ask!


Returns Policy
  • We offer a 30 day product return policy from the original ship date.
  • All returned items will incur a 15% restocking fee.  The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges to get the item back to us.  (NO REFUNDS ON SHIPPING CHARGES).  All returned items that were orginally shipped "Free Shipping" will have the cost of shipping deducted from any return credit.
  • All parts being sold are NEW.  Any parts that are returned must be in the same condition, never installed and in saleable condition including packaging.
  • We will not accept items that have been installed or damaged in any way.  You must notify us within 24 hours of receiving your item if it is damaged or defective.  Any part deemed "Defective" will be qualified as such by the manufacture before any credit will be issued from CVXChange.
  • No returns on electrical devices purchased through our eBay store unless the manufacturers seal is still intact. 
  • We are not responsible for any freight charges and upon returning a part, there will be No credit issued on freight charges

    • Name as it appears on your eBay account

    • Reason for product return
