I have a good cosmetic unit, I bought this bought this unit some time ago with intentions of putting in my 944, but realized Bluetooth is pretty nice.  As I recall the display was dim, but I understand these particular units can be fixed.  May work just fine, never messed with it.  Good for factory Porsche restore.
