Most parts we sell through eBay Motors come with a 30-day money back guarantee unless otherwise stated. The 30 day period starts when you take possession of the part. No labor warranty is provided. 

In the event a part sold with a warranty fails to operate within the warranty period we will replace the part(s) with a functionally equivalent part or refund the part purchase price, at our option. No refund on deposits or unwanted special order parts or special "cut" items. 

To return an item you must contact us via email using eBay messaging within the 30 day period to obtain a RMA number (return material authorization). 

Original shipping charges and return shipping charges are not refunded. We reserve the right to charge shipping on return items on items originally listed with the free shipping option in the event of a return.

Once you obtain an RMA number, ship the item back to Waterloo Auto Parts, 1501 Grandview Ave. Waterloo, IA 50703 along with the RMA number.

Our default shipping rates are for the 48 US states only via UPS Ground. 
We usually ship within 1-2 business days of receiving cleared payment. Unless otherwise noted, Buyer pays shipping. 

Freight Items 

We will not ship freight items and some larger or fragile parts outside of the 48 US states. For large items that must be shipped via Freight Truck (i.e. engines, transmissions), the delivery site must be a commercially zoned address capable of unloading a freight truck. 

We can also arrange for you to pick up your freight item at your local freight terminal. For an accurate residential freight quote, please contact us before your purchase. If for some reason our shipping cost is greatly over this estimate, we reserve the right to ask for additional funds or an alternate ship to address. 

Shipping Deadlines 

We will process every order within 24 hours of checkout. Our business hours are from 7-5 M-F CST. Orders placed after 3:00 pm CST cannot be guaranteed shipping that day. All Non-Freight items will be sent via UPS ground unless given instruction otherwise. If you need 2nd day air or Next day air service please call us directly for best results. You may also add this service during checkout but we can only guarantee shipment of these orders if it is placed before 3:00 CST. All freight items will go out the same day if the order is placed before 12:00 noon CST. This is providing that we have adequate payment, shipping instructions and phone numbers to process the shipment.

Core Charge. Core is an acronym for ‘Cash On Return’. A core charge is sometimes applied to rebuildable parts such as engines or alternators that can be redeemed for a portion of their original price. If the part you are purchasing has a core charge applied, it will be noted in the description.

 

Parts Grading. A standard code system is used to communicate the condition and quality of a part between automotive recyclers, automotive repair shops, and insurers. Knowing how these codes are used will help you understand whether the part meets your expectations before you buy it and what you can expect from the part when you receive it.

 

 

A Grade - The highest quality part. It is of low miles and/or exceptional condition for its age.
B Grade - The second level quality part. It is of average miles and normal condition for its age.
C Grade - The third level quality part. It has high miles and/or light damage.
No Grade - A part that has not yet been graded.
