Up for sale is a 4040 prop valve from a 94-97 DC DB (2 or 4dr) Acura Integra RS without ABS.  It is in good condition though the mounting bracket has some surface rust and could use a cleaning a coat of paint. Also known as brake biasing valve or brake distribution valve.  Commonly used for disc brake swaps on Honda Civics and CRXs.  Please be certain this is the part you need before bidding.

OEM Acura part number: 46210-ST7-003 which costs $163.35-$150.22 from your Acura dealership (if they have it in stock.)

This is a necessary component for rear disk (or disc) brake swaps as it creates the intended proportioning.  This can be used as an OEM replacement, disc brake swap component, or part of an upgraded brake system. This item is also the best OEM valve available for big brake kits such as Brembo, K-Sport, Wilwood, AEM, Endless, Rotora, Spoon, Fastbrakes, Dynalite, and Black Label.

This part is a direct bolt in replacement of upgrade of Honda with the ‘EG’ chassis code and Acuras with ‘DC or DB’ chassis codes.  Might fit 96-00 Honda Civics with the EK chassis code but not certain.  The bracket uses 3 mounting bolts.

·        1992 – 95 Honda Civic

·        1994 – 01 Acura Integra (including Integra Type R “ITR”)

This valve can also be used in the following vehicles if the mounting brackets are swapped with the original bracket that came with the car (requires special hollow Torx socket) - these use a 2-bolt bracket:

·         1990 – 93 Acura Integra

·         1988 - 91 Honda CRX (HF, DX, and Si)

·         1988 – 91 Honda Civic (EX, DX, and LX)

·         1988 – 91 Honda Civic Hatchback (DX or Si)

·         1988 – 91 Honda Civic Wagon (including RT4WD)
