These are Victorcore (red) composition type for the L-88 430HP (HD) aluminum head motor in Corvette in 1968-1969. These were superseded in March of 1970 so that makes these 46-49 years old still in their original package.

If you are doing a concours class restoration of your 68-69 L-88 super-car these are the gaskets to push to the next level of originality. Don’t let the judge see Fel-Pro blue and cost you points. This is the real deal period correct part. The package and PN label are good enough to keep in your cars portfolio. 

 

This was the preferred gasket recommended by GM for the LS-7 conversion and will also work with your ZL-1 reportedly. They compress to .040 and provide optimum performance when installed correctly.

 

This was the gasket preferred by Bill King (Bill King Racing Engines Detroit, MI) Legendary Can-Am BBC builder for McLaren as well as the Owens Corning team; over other gaskets with red composite that compressed to .040 and stainless steel beads around the cylinders to retain the pressure.
