For sale is a new OBX stainless steel header system for the 2006-2008 Mazda Miata MX-5 / Eunos Roadster. This header is designed for the North America Spec Miata; 2.0L. Will not bolt on for the 1.8L version sold in European markets. This header does remove the primary catalytic converter that is built into the stock header system. By using this header, the check engine light will most likely come on due to the ECU seeing high emission ranges. The car will still function normally, but this light will stay on. A quick fix is to move the primary o2 sensor behind the 2nd cat so it sees emissions within OEM specs. Includes new upper gaskets that goes between the header and engine. Stock lower doughnut gasket can be reused. This header is backed by OBX's warranty against manufacturing defects. Header piping is made from true 304 stainless steel and flanges are non polished steel. Primaries are approximately 1.6" and collector size outlet is 2.3". Great upgrade to those still using the stock header. This is a race spec header and may not be a legal upgrade for public road use. Please confirm with state and local laws prior to purchase. Item is being sold for non-public road use only.
