Description


Audi Ami 3.5mm cable. Allows you to listen your mp3 or other device that has a 3.5mm (or headphone) output plug through your Audi Ami systems. This cable only interfaces the audio all other controls must be made on the audio device it's self. (i.e change song on the device itself)

This cable is 1.5m in Length.

To be used in conjunction with Audi Music Interface (AMI).

Compatible: Generally fit for Audi vehicles 2007 onwards with AMI. Compatible with Audi A6L/A8L/Q7/A3/A4L/A5/A1/S5/Q5/etc Notes: This cable is ONLY fit for Audi vehicles equipped with AMI. Physically, AMI is located next to the CD Changer, or located underneath the center armrest. (A6, A8 in the glove box, Q7 in the center console)

Installation Guides:
Pull out the head unit from the car and touch the back of the head unit for CDC port when the ignition is switched off
Properly connect its one end to Audi Music Interface, while the other end to any device that has 3.5mm earphone jack.
Put the wire harness into the proper and good place after the test successfully.
When connection is done, simply press MEDIA on the MMI controller buttons. This cable transmits audio from device to car stereo only. It won't display album list, control the device, or charge the device.
