This is a 100% Genuine Subaru part.  I received this from a former mechanic at a Subaru dealership, which is where this part came from.

All parts I am selling are brand new, some are still sealed in original manufactures plastic. Most have a box but the boxes are in poor condition. (see pictures in each individual listing).

BUY GENUINE!!!!!!!!  Don't make the mistake I made a few weeks ago. I made the mistake of buying "generic replacement ink" for my printer. It barely worked for a couple of days. It became a headache to try to get my money back. It may cost a little more but in my experiences, it is well worth it and saves money in the long run.

BUY FROM A USA SELLER, you'll get your item quicker and you can be assured you are buying an authentic product not some foreign counterfeit knockoff.  These may cost you a few extra bucks, but rest assure these are genuine products.   

How to spots fakes?  Ebay does their best to keep counterfeit items off their site but some get by.  Here are some tips I have learned over the years. 

1. The price:  if the price is too low, there is probably a reason.  Its most likely too good to be true.  Trust your instincts.

3. Buy from a USA seller:  most counterfeits come from over seas so it is very possible that a US seller bought them and is reselling them but it is much safer to buy from a US seller.

5. Check out the buyers feedback:  especially click on the negatives and see what people are saying.  Also, see how long the seller has been selling on Ebay.

7. Look for key words "genuine, OEM, original,100% Authentic":  Only sellers that know their product is genuine will post these words all over their description and especially in the title.  Ebay searches for key words and authentic/genuine are some of them.  So counterfeit sellers with experience will avoid these words, especially in their title.
