This is a tool to assist in changing the drive belt on your Yamaha snowmobile. This will work with any Yamaha snowmobile that uses the 3 tower secondary clutch. The tool simple fits over 2 of the 3 nuts that hold the helix on. With the tool placed on the nuts it allows you to use one hand to release the spring pressure and easily push in on the clutch with your other hand to get enough slack in the belt to easily remove it. It works the same way for reinstalling the drive belt. The tool was designed and tested around the stock Yamaha helix, this will work with aftermarket kits however certain kits that use a different helix may have different clearances than the Yamaha helix in which case the tool may need to ground down just a bit in a certain area to fit that specific aftermarket helix.
