This auction is for a pair of CNC machined and POLISHED 6061 Aircraft Aluminum Bar ends and threaded aluminum base that are designed to match our frame sliders and swingarm spools.
This set of bar ends will fit on the following bikes: FZR600 89-99, XJ600 92-96, YZF600R 95-08, FZ6 04-08, FZ1 01-05. These bar ends will not fit on the R6. The R6 and 600R are two totally different bikes, and the bar ends are not interchangable. Please make sure you buy the correct bar ends for your bike.
Most of the other Yamaha bar ends available on Ebay do not include the threaded base. Some of the other guys have a rubber expansion plug that is less than 1/2 inch long, and they will easily vibrate out on a long ride. They don't even mention that in their auction. Please be sure to compare apples to apples when shopping for bar ends.
The part of the bar end that sticks out of the handlebar measures 1-1/2" long, and 1-1/4" in diameter. The part that goes inside the handlebar measures about 1-1/2" long, and about 3/4" in diameter.
Because the part that threads into the handlebar is made of aluminum, and so is the handlebar insert, it is recommended that you apply a little bit of grease on the threads of the bar end, and work it back and forth little by little before you try to screw it in. If you do not do that, the aluminum threads might "gall" (cold weld) to the insert, and then it will be difficult, if not impossible to get them out. This situation will come up any time you screw aluminum into aluminum.

Be VERY careful not to bid on multiple items unless you intend to pay for multiple items. Each time you click on "Bid" or "Buy it Now" then you click on "Commit to Buy" you are agreeing to buy another item. If you "accidentally" bid on something and win it, I will expect you to "accidentally" pay for it. If Paypal is not working for you for whatever reason, email me, and I will tell you what to do. ALL Non-paying bidders will be reported to Ebay, a Non-Paying bidder alert will be filed, you will be blocked from all of our future auctions, and your Ebay account may be terminated. If you buy this item, please make it your priority to pay for it.
(3.) This item MUST be shipped to the country your Paypal account is registered in. NO FREIGHT FORWARDERS OR THIRD PARTY SHIPPERS! If your Paypal account is INTERNATIONAL (not registered within the US, Canada included), there is NO WAY to have this item shipped to a US address if you pay with Paypal. We MUST ship to the country your Paypal account is registered in. An example of this would be if you live in Canada, and your Paypal account is registered in Canada, and you want me to ship within the US. Paypal will NOT allow me to do that, and I will NOT do that. This is a VERY common Ebay/Paypal scam. If you have an INTERNATIONAL Paypal account, and you want me to ship to a US address, you cannot pay with Paypal. Some other sellers may chose to violate the rules of Paypal, but we definately will NOT. If you cannot follow the rules of Paypal, please do not pay with Paypal.
(4.)Because of Paypal's Seller Protection Policy, items paid for with Paypal MUST be shipped via US Mail to the address that is on your Paypal payment. If your current paypal address is not where you want this item shipped, you must first EDIT your paypal address to the correct address before you send the payment. If you send a payment with a bad address on it, and the item gets returned to me by the post office, you will be required to pay for the reshipment of the item, so double check your address on the payment before you send the payment.
