7" 28g hardwire kit for any brand of radar detector that is mounted with a mirror mount such as blend mount and uses an RJ11 plug, which is most detectors. 28g solid copper wire for the best transmission of power. Fine twisted copper wiring from a standard modular telephone wire carries a weaker power strength then a solid single strand of copper. Also, modular phone lines are very flexible and do not hold shape as well as the 28g wiring does. That allows the this wire tap to be molded providing a better concealment of the wire from your radar to the mirrors wiring harness.  Other sellers wire taps claim to protect your device with inline fuses when in reality radar detectors draw such low amperage that fuses are unnecessary.
