Vintage Gravity Fed Oiler

This is a vintage gravity fed oiler manufactured by Detroit Lubricator Co. Item is made of brass with a clear glass oil reservoir and clear sight glass. Brass has tarnish and scratches. Stamped on top is Detroit Lubricator Co and 8004. There is a small spring loaded cover on top of oil reservoir so oil can be added. On top of Oiler is a lever that can be moved up or down easily. Glass has some scratches and oil residue on it. Measures approximately 4 ½ inches long (with lever in up position). Oil reservoir measures approximately 1 ¼ inches in diameter by 1 ¼ inches long. I do not know if this item works.
