Every manufacturer tests their products. It's part of the process. At KC HiLiTES however, our ideas spend a lot of time in the laboratory before a light is even prototyped. These are just a few of the issues that we address before we really get started prototyping a new lighting unit. We prefer to test them in the real world of high performance racing. Since way back in 1970, feedback from professional drivers has helped steer our designs in the right direction. This open dialog with racers and enthusiasts has helped us to continually refine our thinking, and it shows in the performance of our products. It's also safe to say that every KC HiLiTES product that makes its way to market has graduated with honors from the school of hard knocks. At KC HiLiTES, we didn't become the dominant force in auxiliary lighting overnight. In fact, we've been traveling down that road for over 35 years, paved or not. Over that time, we've designed, engineered and manufactured the most advanced auxiliary lighting available. In the process, we've also built a rock solid reputation for quality and performance. We ship within 1 business day of receiving payment on your order. We ship Monday thru Friday. Our warehouse is closed on Saturday and Sunday. We ship most of our items via USPS. Larger items may be shipped UPS. Our delivery goal is 2-4 business days after your order has cleared. Please keep in mind the delivery dates on the eBay listing is an estimate. We can not be held responsible for delays due to weather or courier mistakes. If you paid with a PayPal e-check, it may take several days for your payment to clear. Cores
Some items we sell, have core charges. Which require you to send us your old one or pay for the core charge. Basically, your existing part that you are replacing is your "core." We need to get your core back so that we can eventually remanufacture it, and continue to supply high quality parts at an affordable price. Simply put your old part in the box that your new part was delivered in, and ship it back to us. Once we receive your core return, we will refund your core deposit. Core deposit refunds are typically issued within one week of us receiving your core. Customer is responsible for shipping charges to return the core. Returns
Unwanted or incorrectly ordered items can be returned to us up to 14 days. Please be aware that we do charge a 20% restocking fee for all returned items. Items must be in their original packaging and in a resalable condition. If you wish to return an item please contact us via the eBay messaging system for information. If returning an item please enclose a note with your name, phone number, and the reason for the return. If we have incorrectly supplied a part please contact us.
