The all new Shrader 6r80 Transmission Mount is now available! This all aluminum transmission support is specifically designed for installing a 6r80 Automatic transmission or MT82 manual transmission into a 99-04 Mustang body. Since installing a Coyote engine into the New Edge Mustang body has become a popular swap, there was a need for a way to install the 6 speed auto transmission easily into the trans tunnel without major modifications. CNC milled to exact tolerances for an easy fit.

This package also includes additional shims to raise or lower the tail of the transmission for fitment, or for aligning pinion angle slightly. Includes the mounting bolts as well.

Use of this mount, requires the 2011-14 OEM Ford transmission suport isolator that mounts to the transmission with 3 bolts. There are also now aftermarket isolators available for less deflection and a more solid mounting approach. Both styles are compatible with this tranmission mount.

The MT82 and 6r80 use the same transmission support so our brace should also work for the MT82 6speed manual Getrag.

Exhaust clearance:

We have not tested every exhaust combination to check for fitment with this mount. There is the possibility that you may need to make minor modifications if there is interference with your exhaust piping. As we test this further, we will update this with known exhaust components that fit.
