Heavy Duty SFI-5 Racing Shoes Provide Durability And Heat Protection
The RaceQuip Euro Carbon-L racing shoe is a feature packed SFI-5 shoe at a lower cost than you would expect. The Carbon-L's lightweight and flexible design incorporates special construction features to increase durability. These features included a reinforced lace area and double-stitched seams. The high traction molded rubber sole rolls up the back of the shoe to provide extra support for your heel while driving. RaceQuip added the special Carbon-L wear pads on each side of the toe for added protection and durability in the high heat/high wear areas. The shoe upper is constructed from soft suede leather that uses contrasting stitching and European styling to give the shoe a unique look. The liner is manufactured from flame retardant Pyrovatex®, and includes additional padding at the ankles and built-in arch supports. The design also utilizes RaceQuips's unique Achilles flex opening in the back to allow for easier foot extension, such as when running full throttle. The design of this shoe perfectly blends light weight, durability, comfort and pedal feel, and weighs in about 30% less than a standard racing shoe. The shoes are sized in US Men's sizing. For women wanting to use these shoes, subtract 1.5 from your women's shoe size to find the size you need. For example, if you need a women's size 9 shoe, order a men's size 7.5 shoe.
