Head Gasket for
Saab 850cc 2-Stroke
You are looking at a replacement Head gasket for any Saab 850cc 2-stroke Engine up made from 1966 to 1968.
Models fitted with this engine are the 95, 96 and Sonett II from '66 to '68.
The Gaskets were manufactured using CAD process in specific materials.
The Saab manual recommends decarbonizing the engine head and pistons every 30000Km (aprox. 18500Mi). In order to ensure proper sealing and compression a new gasket should be fitted every time the engine is decarbonized.
Also, since the engine block is made of casted iron any coolant leaks due to a worn gasket will result in a rusted engine block.
