World Products's Mowtown II engine blocks are an affordable and reliable way to build your new high-power small block Chevy engine at big block cids! They are machined on state-of-the-art CNC milling centers to blueprint quality specs and are much stronger, with better oiling and cooling capacity than factory GM blocks.

· New cast iron race block, Chevy 400 mains (350 mains also available) · This block is shipped @ 4.115-rough bore
· 4-bolt Ductile (aka Nodular) iron main caps at all five locations (caps 2-3-4 splayed) (Billet Steel Caps also available for extra $$$) · ARP 1/2 inner row main cap fasteners, 7/16 outer row main cap fasteners · 4.000 stroke clearance
· Std. SBC size cam journals (50mm cam bearings also available in for extra $$$) · Std. SBC cam location (+.134" raised cam with 50mm cam bearings, available for extra $$$. Raised cam blocks not available w/ std. dia. SBC cam bearing)
· Std. .842 dia. lifter bores (.904 dia. versions also available for extra $$$) · Decks are even and parallel to 0.002 · Minimum .700 thick deck
· True priority main oiling system · 4.200 max recommended bore diameter (.250 min cylinder walls @ 4.200 bore)
· Accepts oil pans w/ driver's-side dipstick, 2-pc rear seal · Blind head bolt holes to prevent water leaks · Well-supported main web and cam tunnel
· Expanded water jackets for better cooling · Has all
threaded external OE block holes for starter, clutch ball, etc. · Accepts stock timing cover, fuel pump, and oil filter mount · Dry sump oil provisions · Bolt-in lifter valley debris screen included
· If using aftermarket roller lifters, +.300 taller lifters are required
· Block weight before machining, bare: 200-lbs. +/- 5-lbs.

Will not accept factory OE-style hydraulic roller cam or lifters.
This block must be finish-honed and/or bored, and cleaned before assembly.
