This is the Tab297-SDS mounting kit by Fifield Fabrications for the Galaxy Tab 2 9.7" tablet. This kit is designed for custom installation in car or home. It must be finished and bulit in by an installer. It is designed to save time in the custom installation process.The images shown of dashes are examples of what the finished product can look like. It is constructed from Abs plastic.  This is a full face Slidedock kit. This kit is designed to "Drop in" and "lift out" of the kit. There is a dock connector opening. The dock connector is required to help hold the tablet. When the tablet slides away from the dock connector, there is a 3/8" gap to allow for grabbing and removing the tablet. There are 1/8" overhanging edges on the the dock connector side and top edge of the tablet which allows the tablet to be mounted vertically without a problem. The back plate is solid and flat and can be cut to allow for access to other items.  Dimensions are 7 1/4" X 10 1/8" once the flange edge is removed. With the flange edge it is 8 1/4" x 11 7/8". Thank you for looking and shopping with us!
