Repair procedure:
1. First of all, Clean the damaged area with rubbing alcohol, Cut off any loose or damaged leather or vinyl. The damaged area should be level with the undamaged area.
2. Then, Using the fabric included in this repair kit. Cut out one piece slightly large than the damaged area and insert it under the damaged area. This will be a base for the repair compound.
3. Using the mixing guide included in the kit and mix your desired color. When color is matched, Apply compound to area to be repaired allowing one hour for drying time. The compound will shrink when it dries. If necessary, Apply a second and third coat.
4. After the final coat of the compound has been applied. Choose the grain paper pattern that matches your repair as closely as possible. Place the grain paper onto the compound and apply as much pressure as you can. This will transfer the grain to the repaired area. Allow to dry over night. Once compound is dry remove the grain paper.
5. The repair is finished.
