1969 1970 Mercury Cougar Dash AC Vent Block off Plate With Running Cat Emblem

Description........
With the dramatic change to the Cougar line starting in 1969 came some new trim and interior options. When ordered with no air conditioning, the 1969 & 1970 Cougar had a vent hole in the center of the dash left open. This plate is what filled that vent hole. It was known as a "AC Block Off Plate" and came with the Cougar Running Cat logo.

Condition.......
Used. On a 10 scale I give it an 8. It will look a lot better than the emty hole in your daily driver. The plate was removed from one of my many parts cars in the past. Some rust is present on the mounting bracket but it can be easily sanded off. Some pitting on the back side of the plate that is not seen when mounted in your car. The Running Cat logo is in vert good shape. The middle section where the running cat is mounted may have come loose at one time and been reatached. It is a little off center and some adhesive can be seen if you look extremely close. This may also be a factory blemish.
