How many LED bulbs do I need?
The quantity required depends on the particular application (i.e. map light, courtesy light... etc) and the particular make, model and year. For example some tail lights may contain five or more pairs of different bulbs. We recommend you consult your vehicle manual or check the application area and count how many bulbs you require. They are sold individually (1x) or by the pair (2x), please check the auction title to insure you are purchasing the quantity you need for your application.

Will this fit my vehicle bulb connector?
We do offer parts compatibility guide as a courtesy, not a guarantee of fitment. The best way to insure this type of bulb connector fits your vehicle is to consult your vehicle manual or check the OEM bulb type that is installed and insure compatibility. We can not guarantee the compatibility information due to sub-model differences and manufacturer mid-year changes.

Will this physically fit my vehicle's application area listed?
The fitment listed refers to the bulb connector type, it does not refer to the physical dimension of the bulb. All bulb dimension are listed in the description. Be sure to check the application area to insure it fits. Some bulbs are longer than others, make sure there is enough clearance to insure proper installation. Don't worry, if you purchase the wrong size we have a hassle-free return policy.

What is this LED bulb compatible with?
The T10 bulb is compatible with: 147 152 158 159 161 168 184 192 193 194 259 280 285 447 464 555 655 656 657 1250 1251 1252 2450 2652 2921 2825 12256 12961 2521 2525 W5W and possibly other style bulbs.

We do not recommend using LED bulbs in the same housing with head lamps as the heat may cause them to fail more quickly and void the warranty.

Some GM vehicles may apply a pulsed voltage for Daytime Running Lights (DRL) application, this pulsed voltage causes LED bulbs to fail quickly. Use in these applications voids the warranty.

Do I need special tools to install these bulbs?
In general you do not need any special tools, a screwdriver and a little bit of a Do-It-Yourself attitude is all you need. You may get a general idea of what it takes to install these bulbs by reading our installation guide.

Do ProFocos LED bulbs cause errors or hyper flashing or turn signals?
All LED bulbs may cause some newer vehicles to indicate a bulb is burnt out (due to their low power consumption, vehicle's computers think they may be burnt out) or hyper flashing in turn signal applications. The only fix for this is to install Load Resistors across the bulbs in parallel that are being indicated as bad.

Some vehicles will also disable the cruise control system if a brake light bulb is being indicated as bad, the installation of Load Resistors will also solve this problem.
