Akrapovic exhaust systems with their hexagonal mufflers are top of the line products for this motorcycle. The increases in power and torque can be clearly seen from dyno measurements and felt on the motocross track. The header pipe features an additional chamber for a better response at lower RPM and for more top end power. You will also save on weight, when compared to stock exhaust systems. This system does NOT include a spark arrestor.

PERFORMANCE

Power & Torque: The system provides the performance that top riders are looking for as output is increased throughout the entire RPM range. Engine performance is increased throughout the entire RPM range, most significantly at 5500 RPM , giving you the grunt to get out of corners. Overall, the power curve is steeper and smoother. Akrapovic measured max power output of 35.7 HP at 12.000 RPM and maximum power increase over 12 HP at 5500 RPM ! The torque also gets a major boost, which will make riding smother and lower your times on the track.

CONFIGURATION

The Akrapovic Racing systems come with a unique hexagonal offroad design muffler. The conical header tube is attached to a conical link pipe (both are made from titanium) with a sleeve joint secured with a silicon-shielded spring. The link pipe is welded to the muffler. The inlet cap and the inner perforation are made of the same material as the link pipe. The muffler's outer sleeve is made of titanium and the whole rear end of the system is attached to the motorcycle with Akrapovic carbon fiber clamps. It also includes an Akrapovic carbon fiber heat shield.
