PLEASE BE SURE YOUR CALIPER HOUSING LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE ONE IN THE PHOTO BEFORE ORDERING THIS PISTON - Please note the prominent 'ribs' on the outside so that you can identify  it.  The bolt mount holes are approx 2 inches center-to-center.......   We have produced a limited run of new stainless steel front brake caliper pistons which fit the 1969 - 1976 Honda CB750 K models* and the 1970 - 1971 CB 450  models*  - with a hydraulic front brake.  (For the 1975-1976 750 F and 1976-1978 750 A Hondamatic models, please see another of our auctions).  These are machined to the exact dimensions, surface finish, and weight of the original Honda part, (part # 45107-300-003) but are made from 304 hard stainless steel that is highly resistent to corrosion.  Honda's original piston is made of machined cast iron with a thin plating of chrome.  The original Honda made piston will eventually get corrosion on the surface of the piston, which leads to brake fluid leaking past the sealing ring.  This causes caliper and pad binding, and the need to rebuild your brake caliper.  Our pistons do not deteriorate from contact with the moisture that sooner or later gets into your hydraulic brake system.  This is the last caliper piston you will need to buy for your 1969-1976 CB 750 or your 1970-1971 CB 450.  You are bidding on ONE (1) stainless piston - NOT the caliper housing pictured.  Again, this auction is for ONE new stainless caliper piston, including our detailed, VERY easy-to-read 8 page direction sheets  $7.50 s/h for SUPER-FAST priority mail shipping in the U.S.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our other auctions offer front brake caliper pistons for most of Honda's 1970's bikes with a single front brake caliper.
