Titanium shims improve braking performance reducing temperature in brake calipper and brake fluid.
how does it works???
when the brake pads gets hot after several hard braking the heat make his way in to the brake caliper pistons and the brake fluid resulting on a increase of temperature in the brake fluid, in extreme conditions brake fluid will boil and create small air bubbles causing soft and spongy brake pedal feel, by adding a bad temperature conductor material barrier in between the pad and the piston the temperature of the fluid wont be as high giving you the extra room to lean on the brakes specially when used on track.
