1969 Chevrolet Camaro 1969-1972 Nova NOS ps hose nut 5693981

Product Description

NOS genuine GM power steering pressure hose replacement nut, part number 5693981.

According to the note in the Chevrolet parts book (see picture 3), this nut was to be substituted for the original nut on power steering hose assembly 7811627. 7811627 was the replacement for original part number 3964564 as of August 1971, so this should fit cars before the 1972 model year.

The 1975 Chevrolet parts books lists the 7811627 hose to be used on:

1969 Chevrolet Camaro with 307 or 350 V8
1969 - 1972 Chevrolet Nova with 307 or 350 V8

This nut fits on the front end of the hose, where it attaches to the back side of the power steering pump.

Brand new, still factory-sealed in original GM Saginaw package, never opened.

2. Payment is expected within 3 days. After 8 days, I will file with eBay to have my auction fees refunded. If there is a problem with 3 days, please let me know, as I am not unreasonable, and I know that things happen. Just be aware that having been on eBay full-time for several years has already afforded me an opportunity to hear a lot of "creative" stories.
