1969 CAMARO DZ 302 Z28 ENGINE.  THIS ENGINE IS A RESTAMP WITH ALL CORRECT PARTS.  BLOCK IS A 3932386 WITH A M DATE CODE.  M DATE CODES ARE EARLY EXPERIMENTAL BLOCKS AND THIS ENGINE BLOCK HAS A BIG X CASTED IN THE BACK.  HEADS ARE BOTH DATE I-20-8, SEPTEMBER 20TH 1968.  INTAKE IS A 3932472 WITH NATURAL FINISH, CORRECT NON DRIPPER VALVE COVERS 3932418, CORRECT 8" HIGH PERFORMANCE HARMONIC BALANCER.

ENGINE BLOCK WAS THERMAIL CLEANED, MAG NU FLUXED WITH NO ISSUES, THEN ALIGN HONED, SQ DECKED AND THEN BORED AND HONED .030.  

1178 CROWER CRANKSHAFT THAT IS .010/.010.  PINK RODS, FORGED L2210 TRW PISTONS WITH THE DOMES MILLED DOWN .150. ENGINE IS FULLY BALNCED.

FACTORY DUNTOV 30/30 CAMSHAFT WITH SOLID LIFTERS

HEADS ARE 3927186 DATED I-20-8, HEADS WERE THERMAL CLEANED, MAG NU FLUXED WITH NO ISSUES, NEW STAINLESS 2.02 AND 1.60 VALVES, HARD EXHAUST SETS, NEW Z28 SPRINGS, NEW RETAINERS KEEPERS SEALS, PERCISION 3 ANGLE VALVE GRIND,  SCREW IN STUDS AND GUIDE PLATES, NOS HIGH PERFORMANCE GM ROCKERS.

NOW THE BEST PART.  THE ENGINE HAS BEEN PROPERLY BROKE IN ON A SUTZKA ENGINE DYNO, RINGS AND CAMSHAFT HAVE BEEN CYCLED AND THEN RAN FOR AN HOUR.  FIRST AND ONLY PULL WAS 351HP AT 6000 RPM.  I FELT SINCE THE ENGINE IS NOT BEING SOLD WITH THE CARBURATOR OR DISTRIBUTOR THAT ANY MORE TUNIGN WOULD BE A WASTE OF TIME.  BASE TOTAL TIMING WAS 33'.  WATER PUMP AND HEADERS ARE PART OF THE DYNO MACHINE AND ARE NOT INCLUDED.
