The B4 SWIFT is often recommended as the ideal VFR flight bag. It's designed to hold one or two full-sized headsets plus a handful of charts, and/or an iPad, plus all the small stuff you'll want along for the ride. It also serves as an unbeatable carry-on personal bag when traveling on commercial flights, or just as a terrific daily bag for a wide variety of personal and professional uses.

It has a staggering 23 - yes, 23 different compartments.

The front cap is the same used on other Brightline products and has a bunch of pockets organized into three main and six auxiliary pockets.  In the aviation environment there's room for your flight timer, fuel testers, E6B (remember those?), flashlight, compact portable GPS, and so forth.  But, it's also great for your computer's cord, chargers for your iPad, and whatever else.    There is also a flat half-height slip pocket on the inner surface of the module where you can stow charts or an important document or two like a copy of your medical, SFRA training certificate, or your passport.

The rear cap has two flat pockets on the outside.  The main one opens from the top with a flap secured with Velco, and is a great place to stick your iPad.  There is a second half-height slip pocket that's ideal for basic documents that you need fast access to - checklists, for example.  It also has a zipper across the bottom to allow it to slip over the upright handle of a folding cart or rolling suitcase.

The interior of the main compartment is 13.5" tall, 10.0" wide,  and 4.0 inches deep. (34cm x 25cm x 10.2cm).  It can be accessed two different ways;  unzipping the two zippers and it opens like a book with full access to everything inside, or unzip the upper flap to reach in.   It will hold two full-size headsets, a 13" laptop and a bunch of papers, or both.  (Many, but not all 14" laptops will fit as well.)  You can add another Flex System center section of your choice to provide 2", 3", 4", 5" or 11" of additional space.

Overall, the bag is 14.0" tall, 10.5" wide, and  6.5" deep. (36cm x 27cm x 16.5cm)

Expansion potential is pretty much unlimited; the B4 is compatible with any other of the FLEX system inserts so you can make it as big or as small as you need.
