Mystery part from an old sailboat. I believe that this is a boom from an old small-sized sailboat, daysailor. Handmade, out of wood. Measures approx. 76-3/4" Long, end to end. Open spacing area on end measures approx. 2" Across. The circumference above this area measures approx. 3-3/4" The circumference on other end area measures approx. 2-1/2". This end area has a hole drilled thru it- probably for rigging? There is a also a small hole located near this end area, that is not drilled completely through.
