Summary: I am building a Shafer 8 1932 Indy replica which I will vintage race. I wanted a fuel cell that would give me roll over protection and the flap does that. The size affords me a compact tank that will fit nicely in this racer. I used the bolt together frame for the 16 gallon tank and modified it for this 12 gallon tank which made for an easy installation.
