'SIR HENRY ROYCE MEMORIAL FOUNDATION' BADGE (EXTREMELY RARE)
Extremely rare badge (normally fixed to a badge bar) as issued by the foundation. This particular example is one of just 100 (all
numbered and named) issued. It was (as can be seen) issued to 'MARTIN CANNELL'. The late Mr Cannell was a Director at
Rolls Royce up until 2006 and was a respected afficionado of the marque, owning various vintage models. After his retirement I
understand he specialised in Automobilia.
This badge is numbered 99 and bears Mr Cannells name. Normally the foundation badges were finished
in blue enamel - these special versions were the only ones enamelled in red, making it very special indeed,
particularly with it's provenance.
In superb, unmarked condition. Size - 7.5cm (3") diameter
