Boat part number 1109064 is a new active corrosion protection kit from Volvo Penta, part number 3883775 .

The Active Corrosion Protection Electronic Unit is the central controller and heart of the engine system. It is responsible for controlling the GPS/Chart plotter, Engine Monitors, fuel supply, air management, fuel injection, and ignition. It is also a device capable of making independent decisions regarding the engine's performance. Additionally, it reduces emissions and helps increase the boat's efficiency and engine safety. The system only works using an electronic unit. This product will allow you to turn any device on or off or for marine navigation.

This ACP unit is constructed out of black plastic. It measures approximately 3 7/8" L x 2 5/8" W overall. It is rated for 12V / 200mA. It connects via (4) threaded stud terminals and mounts via (2) 1/8" Dia. mounting holes. Also included is a battery connector harness with (2) 3/8" ID and (2) 1/8" ID battery lugs.
