We replaced the brake booster on our 2003 New Beetle.

One of the difficult tasks was getting the plastic push thing that attaches to the brake pedal to release it's grip on the booster rod.

This tool is needed to pull that plastic thing off the rod.

We paid $30 for this tool. You get it for less than half.
