I stopped flying in 2013 and when I opened the case the head and ear pads had become sticky.  They haven't been replaced but can be purchased at Lightspeed or cheaper ones on Amazon. The coating on the controls had become sticky as well. All of it has been cleaned off with alcohol. The rubber wire insulation has dried up and is cracking apart as can be seen in the photos.  The unit still works fine.
