Up for consideration, I have a lower unit removed from a 2003 140 HP suzuki/johnson 4 stroke. The lower unit shifts and turns smoothly. This is for a standard long shaft motor (L) (20"). The gear oil looks clean, not milky or metallic. This will fit 90-140 HP suzuki 4 stroke motors however the 90 and 115 motors have a different gear ratio than the 140s.
