Description

Pro Series™ Helper Springs by Hellwig®. Quantity: 1 per Pack. This is a set of secondary helper leaf springs. Pro Series adds polyurethane cushioning blocks that eliminate any rubbing, friction, and noise between leaf ends. The 2-leaf design progressively adds support as rear OEM leaf springs become loaded and compressed. Crafted from heat-treated ASTM 5160 alloy spring steel for maximum strength and resilience, these feature a spring rate that becomes firmer as pressure increases. Maintains proper rear ride height, prevents original springs from sagging due to sustained load compression, and helps reduce bouncing during towing. Fitted U-bolts and related hardware are included for mounting. Drilling may be required.

This Hellwig Helper Spring set the standard for all other aftermarket helper springs. Featuring Progressive Spring Rate and Fulltime Spring Rate design, this spring is the workhorse of the Hellwig Spring line. With the Progressive design the vehicle must be loaded and its spring compressed to activate the Hellwig Spring, therefore as the vehicles load increases the Hellwig Helper Spring progressively increases its resistance to the load. In the Fulltime design the Hellwig Spring immediately reacts to the vehicles load, therefore compressing very little as load is applied to the vehicle.
Hellwig's® history began in 1941 with a patent Rudy Hellwig had been granted for an overload spring design he had developed and perfected. Hammering out the springs by hand in a rented blacksmith shop in Kansas, Rudy moved to California after the end of World War II, steel rationing made materials more widely available. Founding Hellwig Products in 1946 out of Glendale, California, Rudy began manufacturing springs that restored ride height, stability, and control to trucks and campers weighed down with heavy cargo. Rudy's philosophy was to build products that exceed customer's expectations in both performance and durability, and his business practices of taking care of customers after a sale quickly built the company a positive reputation. After a 1963 Hot Rod Magazine feature showed how effectively Hellwig adjustable stabilizers eliminated handling problems inherent in stock Chevrolet Corvair suspensions, word of the company's products spread.

30-Day Return Policy

We accept authorized returns within 30 calendar days from the date the product was received by the buyer. All returns must be preapproved and have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before returning. All authorized returns must be unused and in their original packaging, including all items and components that were included in the original package. We will not accept items that have been disassembled, mounted, modified, or damaged due to incorrect installation or user error.


If your shipment arrived with a damaged or incorrect item, please repackage the item in the original shipping container and refer to our Return Procedure. Upon receiving your order, inspect all packages thoroughly for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. If you receive missing, damaged, or incorrect parts, please contact us immediately and provide pictures so we can assist you in processing a return for replacement or refund. We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after 30 calendar days for all products, regardless of the party at fault.
