This is a brand new Ancor Marine Grade #8 - 4/0 AWG professional lug/terminal crimper. These are used to crimp electrical connectors/lugs on large gauge cable most commonly used in the marine environment.  A heavy duty crimp ensures the cable will stay secured to the lug/terminal that you are connecting to.

Tool is in brand new condition removed from box for photo purposes only. It still has the plastic film over the ruler/gauge.  The tool was discontinued by the manufacturer so hard to find brand new these days.
