Listed here is a NEW Mercruiser Gimbal Bearing Kit.  These are Genuine OEM Mercruiser Quicksilver parts NOT cheap Chinese aftermarket replacements.  The part number for this bearing is 30-879194a01 which is superseded from part number 30-862540A3 and lists for $140.33 new from the dealer.  This is the GREASLESS maintenance free bearing that has replaced the serviceable bearing in most transom assemblies.  These were used from the 1980s to present day on MOST Mercruiser transom assemblies from the generation one and two Alpha; and Bravo One, Two, and Three.  These are also used on other engine brands as well including Volvo Penta SX and DP under part numbers 388555 and 3853807.  OMC Cobra also used it under part number 0983937 or sometimes just 983937.  Sierra part number 18-2100 and 18-2100-6 sometimes listed as 18-21006.  Other part numbers may have been used as well over the years  PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE PURCHASING IF YOU NEED HELP WITH COMPATIBILITY OR IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS AND I WILL HELP YOU CONFIRM.  I can not be held responsible for you purchasing the wrong part.  One of the bearings came off the assembly line on April, 2, 2024 which comes with box and another that came off the line on November 23, 2021 which the box is missing.  Neither is old stock stock that has been sitting in a warehouse for years.  If you have a preference on which one you want feel free to contact me.  Both are stored in a climate controlled parts room to prevent deterioration.  Thank you for your interest.  Steve MMSLLC :)
